The art you choose for your client’s home is an important decision, reflecting the homeowner's individuality and taste. I can’t wait to create something together!
WHY YOU WILL LOVE THE PROCESS…
EXCLUSIVITY: Your custom piece will never be used for print reproductions or any other products. As the buyer, I give your client the exclusive right to enjoy this painting for themselves. This painting is theirs and theirs alone to enjoy in their home.
DETAILS: Each painting is created using high-quality oil paints on paper or fine-art gallery-wrapped canvas. Paintings come in standard sizes and proportions, but if you have an ultra-specific size requirement, I can have surfaces custom-built to fit your exact needs. Framing options are available! I work with a local framer who can create any size of floater frame in a variety of colors and finishes. Your painting will arrive to you ready to hang.
SIZES & PRICES: At the time, I am only accepting commissions with a minimum size of 24x36 valued at $1,700. A $300 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. This deposit will contribute towards the final price of the painting. Once booked, I can provide exact pricing for your specific size requirements, as well as additional services such as framing, shipping, and/or installation. It is worth noting that commissioned paintings are priced slightly higher than paintings in a collection because of the high level of attention and care I give to you and your custom painting!

I take the commission process quite seriously, and want to involve you in the process as much as possible. Below are a few insights into my process that will help me create a painting to make all of your painting dreams come true. I can't wait to work with you!
I work from pictures. If you have a special place or a specific view you would like me to paint, send over that picture and that will be my guide! However, a photo from you is not necessarily required. Please no Google photos! :)
One of the most helpful things you can do as the client is provide your favorite pieces from my portfolio that you are most drawn to. My painting style includes a variety of “looks” so if there is a specific painting, or group of paintings, that you are most drawn to, I can recreate that painting as closely as possible. As it is with original art, though, no two paintings are alike! So I will paint according to your color and style specifications as closely as possible. Fabric selections, paint colors and and design boards are also helpful!
In order to protect the work of my fellow artists, I cannot recreate another artist's work, but I would love to know which painting of mine that you are most drawn to.
While I cannot guarantee an exact finish date, if you have a deadline you need to meet, I would love to make that happen! I will begin each painting in the month you choose during booking.
I will email you as the painting progresses and send a few photos along the way. My hope is that it will allow you to have a say in what happens next or what changes need to be made. For example: add more of a color, add less of a color, add more contrast, etc. You are part of this process, and I want to make sure you get exactly what you want.
